Errol R. Arthur
Chairperson, Board of Elections and Ethics
Chairperson Arthur is a native Washingtonian, and a current resident of Ward 4.
Mr. Arthur is currently a partner in the law firm of Arthur & Arthur, P.L.L.C., where he represents clients in legal matters in Washington, D.C., and in Maryland.
Prior to starting Arthur & Arthur, Mr. Arthur was a staff attorney for the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia [PDS]. While at PDS, Mr. Arthur represented indigent client clients charged with felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile delinquency matters in the District of Columbia. Prior to working for PDS, Mr. Arthur served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Mary A. Gooden Terrell, an Associate Judge for the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
He is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland Bars.
