The Board provides payments to elections workers at the rates, which are comparable with other jurisdictions, and consistent with the level of responsibility delegated to the various team positions. At the present time, the scheduled flat rates of compensation for all workers are as follows:

• Captain $160.00 covering attendance at two training sessions, meeting the supply delivery truck, polling place set-up, and Election Day.
• Captain Trainee $140.00 covering attendance at two training sessions, polling place set-up, and Election Day. (Captain Trainees must complete a certification program and be available to serve as a replacement captain, if needed.)
• Technician $140.00 covering troubleshooting voting machine malfunctions, assisting the Captain with opening and closing the two voting machines. (Technicians will be assigned other duties at the discretion of the Captain)
• Other Team Members $120.00 covering attendance at one training session, polling place set-up, and Election Day.
• Training Only $10.00 covering attendance at any training sessions, but with no work on Election Day.
